The Multiple Me Self-Portrait
Mrs. Kushner at Chute teaches a project called "The Multiple Me Self-Portrait" to 7th graders at the beginning of the trimester. Students take photos using a digital camera, iPod Touch, or Photobooth. Students crop and edit photos in Preview. They organize photos into frames using templates in Comic Life. Students then use the paintbrush in Photoshop to create contour lines, match the colors and values, and add a background. Finally, students are able to modify features or colors of their final images to create an animated GIF.
